Pascal Koeppel
In October 2005, Pascal Koeppel was appointed as Head Investment Management of Swiss Financial Advisers (acquired from UBS by Vontobel Holding AG in 2022). He and his teams are responsible for the discretionary portfolio management, selection of suitable investment vehicles and development of specific client solutions as well as the investment advisory mandates. Further, Pascal is the Chief Investment Officer of SFA and member of the Management Committee.
Previously, Pascal Koeppel joined UBS AG in 2004 as Head of Active Advisory in Zurich where he was responsible for the investing of 15bn in assets and managed a team of 40 investment specialists providing investment advisory services for clients worldwide.
Prior to joining UBS, Pascal Koeppel worked for a Hedge Fund company in Switzerland where his focus was on the selection of investment opportunities worldwide as well as structuring of investment vehicles. In 2004, Pascal Koeppel was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation by the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR).
Pascal studied Mechanical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and completed a doctoral thesis in mathematical modeling of time-resolved data. He is also a graduate of the General Management Program of Harvard Business School.
During his free time, Pascal Koeppel enjoys skydiving, skiing and the local arts.
