FinSA

The Swiss Federal Act on Financial Services (FinSA) entered into force on January 1, 2020. The FinSA contains rules for the provision of financial services and the offering of financial instruments in Switzerland. The focus lies on the code of conduct that financial service providers must adhere to in relation to their clients, depending on their client classification, when providing financial services. Most of the provisions will be applicable as of January 1, 2022 after a two-year transitional period, and will be implemented by Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers on that date.
