Roger Scherer

Roger Scherer is the Chief Integration Officer and joined Swiss Financial Advisers AG (former Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG, VSWA) in 2013. Between 2013 and March 2023 he served as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO of VSWA (appointed in 2018). He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Roger Scherer worked with the Strategy & Business Development team of Falcon Private Bank AG (formerly AIG Private Bank AG) from 2011 to 2013. He also worked as Chief Operating Officer of Institutional & Asset Management at AIG Private Bank from 2007 until 2011 and from 2001 to 2006, as the bank’s Head Corporate Actions & Securities Administration.

Before joining AIG Private Bank, Roger Scherer worked from 1997 until 2000 at Bank von Ernst & Cie. AG and from 1993 to 1996 at Zürcher Kantonalbank.

Roger holds an Executive MBA from the University of Berne, Switzerland, an MBA from the University of Rochester, NY, USA as well as a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the European Business School Switzerland.
