Roger Scherer

Since 2013 Roger Scherer serves as Chief Operating Officer of Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG (VSWA) with the rank of Executive Director. In March 2018 he was additionally appointed as Deputy CEO of VSWA. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to his current position at VSWA, Roger Scherer worked with the Strategy & Business Development team of Falcon Private Bank AG (formerly AIG Private Bank AG) from 2011 to 2013.

He also worked as Chief Operating Officer of Institutional & Asset Management at AIG Private Bank from 2007 until 2011 and from 2001 to 2006, as the bank’s Head Corporate Actions & Securities Administration.

Before joining AIG Private Bank, Roger Scherer worked from 1997 until 2000 at Bank von Ernst & Cie. AG and from 1993 to 1996 at Zürcher Kantonalbank.

Roger holds an Executive MBA from the University of Berne, Switzerland, an MBA from the University of Rochester, NY, USA as well as a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the European Business School Switzerland.
